This week’s Speedo is brought to you by the letter ‘C’
– this is a typical introduction to the popular children’s TV programme Sesame Street. Unlike The Teletubbies none of the characters in Sesame Street were ever suspected of being gay, but if you watched it very closely you might think that Big Bird (picture opposite) was a regular drug-user.

Thought of the Day
“Imagine no possessions” - a line from the famous song, Imagine by John Lennon. Imagine a world where the concept of ownership (posiadanie) didn’t exist e.g. My pencil would be expressed as the pencil that I use. Imagine a Callan lesson in a world without ownership:
Teacher: Is this the pencil that you use?
Student: No, it isn’t the pencil that I use, but it’s the pencil you use.
Teacher: Are these the clothes that you wear?
Student: No, they’re the clothes you wear.
Oh, and before I forget.. Chris is giving a lecture on Woodstock this Friday. Woodstock was a huge music festival in America. That's about all I know, so if you want to know more, sign up for it in the secretaries' office :)
